I am 16 yrs old, showing Hunter. Looking for a 3'6 horse/good mover to continue showing in A shows. Currently own a 17h Westphalian who is the best mover in my area (always wins the hack classes) but feel she doesn't have a love for jumping. I get complimented on my riding ability from complete strangers but due to my mare not performing I can not advance. I want a career in horses, go to a college with a riding team. My parents do all they can for me to keep this horse (it was given to me) but we don't have the money to go out and buy something else. Feel this mare would be an excellent dressage horse, she's bay and absolutely gorgeous. I'm just tired of crashing jumps and I want to be able to progress with my riding, as she's holding me back. I live in the Virgina Beach area. Would like another warmblood. Would consider trading if need be, would just like something to ride for about 2 yrs until I graduate from school and head to college. I road a Hollins university horse yesterday at the VHSA Medal finals in Lexington and the coaches said I would be an assest to their team. Would take care of expenses, have a barn to keep it at. Horse Wanted
Adult intermediate rider in Nashville, TN area. Would like to learn to barrel race and team rope. Currently riding and warming up team roping horses during practice and competetions. Would like a horse to use at my convenience. Would like a horse of my own but do not have money to buy and board. Also do not have trailer or tow capable vehicle. Would like to exercise or possibly lease a horse. Looking for a well trained Quarter Horse for trails, roping, and/or barrels. Prefer good temperment in the horse. Will be willing to exercise horses, and if the price is right possible lease.
